Source code is not recommended to be under Creative Commons license as they are not compatible with other open-source licenses (for example I may need to make use of an open-source 3rd-party library in my Unity game). The Creative Commons website says this themselves: http://wiki.creativecommons.org/FAQ#Can_I_apply_a_Creative_Commons_license_to_software.3F

Instead it is recommended we have source code contributions be under public domain. Creative Commons has a public domain style license they call CC0 that may be appropriate: http://wiki.creativecommons.org/CC0_FAQ#May_I_apply_CC0_to_computer_software.3F_If_so.2C_is_there_a_recommended_implementation.3F
