Talk:Tip of the day
"If for some reason objects and the backround within your scene go all streaky and messed up, try deleting the main camera"
- - This sounds like a Unity bug to me. Is there a bugreport on it? Do you know what causes it?
- Sounds like the camera is set to not clear the background. Try setting the camera's clear flags to Skybox or Solid Color. --NCarter 22:50, 24 June 2006 (GMT)
- It could be a texture corruption bug that I encounter with some GUITextures and image effects. Or it could be simply horribly running out of vram. I can reproduce that.--Aarku 08:19, 27 June 2006 (GMT)
Overhauling the TOD page
I have started a Unity tip series a while ago on my website and I am up to 44 tips. I have decided to update this tip page to give it better organization & cleanup.
The older tips section will be eventually be removed and the tips there will be cycled into the new tip of the day format as new tips. (I think some of the old tips are now obsolete).
Some time around March 2013 I will probably come back and create a whole new archive page just for the tips that were added in 2012. It is already a huge page and as the years go on it will provide better organization where each year will have it's own archived tip tip the day. This will help keep the main tip of the day more manageable. --Created by: X (talk) 22:34, 3 December 2012 (CET)
